I am looking for highly motivated PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in remote sensing, geophysics, hydrogeology, and artificial intelligence. Please contact me if you are interested in joining my group.
My research focuses on using geodetic remote sensing data, e.g., Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Global Positioning System (GPS), to characterize ground deformation associated with geohazard and surface process in various landscapes and geodynamic settings (e.g., landslides, aquifers, delta, dams, mines, and earthquakes). I have been engaged in investigating their natural or anthropogenic triggers and mechanisms using statistical, analytical, and numerical models. My interdisciplinary research spans the fields of geomatics, geotechnical engineering, geophysics, hydrology, geology, and tectonics.
