Alvin Yu serves as Principal Engineer and has been working for Fluor Corporation for 29 years. He has served as Lead Engineer on projects (from $10MM to $4B total installed cost) for Civil / Structural / Architectural / HVAC discipline, managed detailed estimation to define budget for the project. In Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phase, manage engineering / design effort,  planning, construction permits, schedule, manpower, subcontracts, material procurement and construction supports.

Twenty-nine years of civil / structural engineering experience in designing power plants, petrochemical plants, Refinery upgrade / additions and industrial plants. Ten years’ experience of structural engineering in institutional facilities, residential, warehouse and office buildings. Other experience includes material control, power plant site development and field / construction engineering supports at work site.
