University of Houston Hydraulics Laboratory
The University of Houston Hydraulics Laboratory is used for research and teaching and includes:
Facilities
- 35ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft (length x width x depth) tilting, glass-wall flume capable of running as either a spill-type feed flume or a closed loop sediment and water recirculating flume
- 120ft x 4ft x 4ft (length x width x depth) glass wall wave tank
- 30ft x 1ft x 3ft (length x width x depth) glass wall flume with constant head tank
- 10ft x 10ft x 2.5ft (length x width x depth) sediment basin
- Oscillating grid system with tank
Equipment
