Admissions and Prospective Student Advising

Admissions and Prospective Student Advising

Admission to all undergraduate engineering majors is handled by the University of Houston and the Cullen College of Engineering. See the UH Undergraduate Admissions and Engineering Undergraduate Admissions webpages for more details. Prospective transfer students and current UH students seeking major changes to engineering should attend a Transfer and Major Change Information Session and also refer to the Engineering Transfer Equivalency Guide.

Contact information for prospective student advising can be found at the UH Admissions Advising webpage and in the first section of the Engineering Advising webpage. Prospective undergraduate students can also request information or schedule a meeting with a UH Engineering Student Ambassador through the College’s Contact + Request Info webpage.

For Current UH BSCE Majors

Advising aids for current UH students pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree are provided below. Current students can email civil [at] egr.uh.edu (civil[at]egr[dot]uh[dot]edu) for help with advising-related questions and to schedule an advising appointment.
